We stayed in a small retreat house at the National Shrine of Our Lady of La Salette in Silang Cavite. One of Jen's friends had contacts there and arranged for our lodgings.
The Shrine had lots of open space, a wide garden, and a lagoon for people to wander around.
We initially planned to tour Aaron around Tagaytay. But since the weather wasn't cooperating, we spent most of our time in the Shrine/retreat house. We tried to venture into Tagaytay, hoping to catch a glimpse of Taal volcano... but it was foggy and the rain kept pouring (although Aaron enjoyed the trip).
Despite the rains, we did have fun spending time together as a family. Since Jen was in her first tirmester, she didn't have any appetite or cravings (which was strange for a pregnant woman). We ended up eating at the local Jollibee and Chowking restaurants.
The sun eventually appeared at the last day of our trip. We managed to explore the Shrine (again) before riding back to Manila.
