A Jollibee Birthday Party

Jen and I attended the first birthday party of our god-son, Zachy. The party was held at the Binondo Jollibee branch. We came to the restaurant around 12:15 and the entire second floor was already packed with people.

We were shared packed meals that included a piece of chicken, rice, small servings of spaghetti, fruit salad, and dalandan juice. By the time we finsihed eating, the Jollibee mascots came out and started entertaining the kids.

Of all the fast food mascots, the most bizarre mascot (for me at least) is Popo Potato. I remembered back in grade school, the Jollibee mascots came to visit. I was disturbed with the site of a giant man with french fries for hair. The idea of having fries for hair creeped me out back then. Now I was forced to confront the mascot that I dreaded.



The party was a blast. Too bad I did not get any gift bags ;-) but I did end up taking pictures with the big bee.
